The team will develop several case studies for Climate Change Adaptation Planning. The selection of the case studies will take place through open invitation and design procedures.
The team will support and guide the existing projects and climate adaptation actions, using the laboratory's participatory planning methodologies and tools.
The participatory processes during the development of the case studies aim at:
Prediction (the involvement of experts is crucial for the best possible approach and the reduction of uncertainty)
Planning (the involvement of the public and the involved stakeholders is essential for the success of the planning)
Prioritization of risks, measures, and actions (the combination of public participation, experts and stakeholders judges the effectiveness of interventions)
Design of public space by citizens' movements (with emphasis on green spaces and solutions based on the ecosystem)
