Presentation of the results of a two-day participatory planning workshop
On Sunday 5 March 2023 at 10.00, in the Municipal Council Chamber in Platanos, the presentation of the results of the meetings that will take place with selected agencies active on the island and the process that will be carried out by the commonspace team with the support of the Municipality Lerou.
Have you wondered what the touristic image of the island would be if it could be identified with the ideas, opinions and values of the local tourism and culture agencies?
These events take place within the framework of the European project ISL, Erasmus+, with our journey starting with Greece and specifically with the island of Leros and continuing in Italy and Cyprus with the aim of promoting a sustainable future in the tourism sector for our islands!

Bicycle path specifications - Nea Smyrni
Cycling, whether as a means of transportation or as a recreational or sporting activity, has certainly become more popular during the quarantine period. Unfortunately, both Athens and the surrounding neighborhoods are not 'friendly' for cyclists. Both due to the presence of cars and driving behavior in general and due to the lack of infrastructure and networks of cycle paths. Increasing the use of bicycles as a means of transport could only positively contribute to the issue of climate change.
The participatory LAB team, through the platform of participatory planning and with the participation of those who use bicycles, is studying the issue for the neighborhood of Nea Smyrni.
